Security: Password and MFA
Access security settings from Settings > Security.
Change Password
Section titled “Change Password”- Click Change Password
- Enter your current password
- Enter a new password (minimum 8 characters)
- Confirm the new password
- Click Change Password
Use the eye icon to toggle password visibility.
Two-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Section titled “Two-Factor Authentication (MFA)”If MFA is already set up, you’ll see a green Enabled badge. To reconfigure:
- Click Reconfigure
- Scan the new QR code with your authenticator app
- Enter the 6-digit code to verify
- Click Verify
If MFA is not yet configured, click Setup and follow the steps in Setting Up Two-Factor Authentication.
Active Sessions
Section titled “Active Sessions”View all devices currently logged into your account:
- Device type and browser name
- Last active timestamp
- Your current session is labeled “Current”
To log out another device, click the trash icon next to that session. The user on that device will be signed out immediately.
Session Timeout
Section titled “Session Timeout”For security, Bormell automatically logs you out after 15 minutes of inactivity. At the 12-minute mark, a warning dialog appears with a live countdown. Click Extend Session to stay logged in.
Any interaction — mouse movement, typing, scrolling, or touch — resets the inactivity timer, so the warning only appears during genuine periods of inactivity.
