Using the Worklist

Click on any worklist item to open its detail panel, or use the action buttons directly from the list.

As a technologist, you move studies through the imaging pipeline:

  1. Start Scanning — changes the study from “Scheduled” to “In Progress”
  2. Mark Images Ready — confirms imaging is complete (status becomes “Completed”)

The study then appears in the radiologist’s To Read tab.

As a radiologist, you review images and write reports:

  1. Launch Viewer — opens the DICOM image viewer (OHIF or OsiriX)
  2. Create Report — opens the report editor for a new report
  3. Edit Report — resume a draft or preliminary report
  4. View Report — read a finalized report

Click on a worklist item to see:

  • Patient information — name and MRN
  • Study details — modality, date, due date, description
  • Assignment — which radiologist is assigned (with option to reassign)
  • Administrative notes — internal notes for the team
  • Activity timeline — history of status changes and actions

Studies are color-coded by priority:

  • STAT (red) — immediate attention required
  • Urgent (orange) — time-sensitive
  • Routine (gray) — standard priority
