Viewing a Shared Study (Guest)

When someone shares a study with you, you’ll receive an email with a link. Here’s what to expect.

Step 1: Verify Your Identity

1. Click the link in the email
2. You’ll see basic study information (patient name, modality, date)
3. Enter the patient’s date of birth in the date field
4. Click View Securely

This verification step protects patient privacy.

Step 2: View the Study

After verification, the image viewer opens showing the DICOM images. You can:

• Scroll through image slices
• Zoom, pan, and adjust brightness/contrast
• Switch between series

Step 3: View the Report (If Enabled)

If the sender included the report, click View Report to open a sidebar panel showing:

• Clinical History
• Technique
• Findings
• Impression
• Signing physician and date

Step 4: Download (If Enabled)

If the sender allowed downloads, click Download ZIP to export the study files. The ZIP file may take a moment to prepare.

Your access is logged and monitored. You can only see the specific study that was shared — no other data in the system.
